Why has my doctor prescribed PYLERA®?
Now that we know that H. pylori causes 90% of duodenal ulcers, combinations of medications including antibiotics are used to treat the underlying cause.1 The medicines in PYLERA® have been demonstrated to treat H pylori infection in the majority of cases when taken correctly. Treating the infection is important to reduce the risk of the ulcer coming back. In recent years, concern about treatment failure and allergic reactions has resulted in the adoption of quadruple therapy.
